Read this passage about Christopher Reeve.

Christopher Reeve was born on September 25, 1952, in New York City. His mother was a journalist, and his father was a professor. As a kid he played sports, did well in school, and liked acting. His passion for acting goes back to playing with his brother when they were little. Reeve acted in his first play at the age of nine. After attending college, taking acting classes, and acting in many plays and movies, Reeve landed his biggest role. In 1978, he played the title role in Superman. He received very positive reviews for his performance and starred as Superman in all the sequels. Reeve was soon acting as the lead role in dozens of movies after Superman. Once well-known, Reeve used his celebrity status for good causes, such as visiting very sick children through the Make-A-Wish foundation. He was also a track and field coach at the Special Olympics.

Besides acting, Reeve was also a licensed pilot and liked horseback riding. He learned to ride horses for a movie role, and he continued riding in his free time. Unfortunately, while riding one day in 1995, Reeve fell from his horse and became paralyzed from the neck down. Being confined to a wheelchair did not hold back Reeve from being socially active, and after many surgeries and rehabilitation, he decided to dedicate his life to helping people with spinal-cord injuries. He created the Christopher Reeve Foundation, which supports the improvement of the lives of people with disabilities and helps fund research to find a cure for paralysis. He was also politically active, working with senators to make sure that people with disabilities were treated fairly in the workplace. Reeve received many awards for his dedication to public service. He also wrote two books about his experiences, and a documentary was made about his life. Reeve passed away in 2004, but his legacy lives on today. He touched the lives of many people and showed us what it means to overcome extreme odds by never giving up.

Based on this passage, Reeve best fits in the yearbook category

Men traditionally are supposed to be 'boss' or 'head of house hold' tieing into first bit of my answer men are becoming more used to sharing responsibility changing a conventional role and giving women more 'power'

Explanation:

The traditional roles of adult male members of the family are changing as we enter the modern era.

Since World War II, women have become breadwinners in families and kept the economy on track as men went to wars.As women got the taste of independence and working outside, it led many women to work, which changed the traditional belief that allowed them to work at home.Since the 1960s, women enter the workplace in large numbers. The potential and the success of women in work allowed men to do household work and look after children.Men traditionally are head of the house but competition and challenges to earn more money to support a family forced women to work.

Therefore we can conclude that the traditional roles of male members are changing.

Write down the composition of
atmosphere. Explain with the help of
diagram.

Answers

Answer:

Earth’s atmosphere is composed of about 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and 0.93% argon. The remainder, less than 0.1%, contains such trace gases as water vapor, carbon dioxide, and ozone. All of these trace gases have important effects on Earth’s climate. The atmosphere can be divided into vertical layers determined by the way temperature changes with altitude. The layer closest to the surface is the troposphere, which contains over 80% of the atmospheric mass and nearly all the water vapor. The next layer, the stratosphere, contains most of the atmosphere’s ozone, which absorbs high-energy radiation from the sun and makes life on the surface possible. Above the stratosphere are the mesosphere and thermosphere. These two layers include regions of charged atoms and molecules, or ions. The upper mesosphere and lower thermosphere are called the ionosphere, this region is important to radio communications, because radio waves can bounce off the layer and travel great distances. It is thought that the present atmosphere developed from gases ejected by volcanoes. Oxygen, upon which all animal life depends, probably accumulated as excess emissions from plants that produce it as a waste product during photosynthesis. Human activities may be affecting the levels of some important atmospheric components, particularly carbon dioxide and ozone.

As part of continuing efforts to control illegal immigration, the US government should institute a system of internal passports similar to those in European nations. Drivers’ licenses currently serve a kind of internal-passport function, but this system is severely limited because not all states require the same documentation before issuing photo ID. Illegal workers can get a driver’s license in one state with lax regulations and use it as identification in another state with stricter regulations but better-paying jobs. Internal passports will keep illegal workers from slipping through the cracks by standardizing forms of photo ID. Which of the following is most similar to the passage above in logical structure?A. Answer:

National standardized college entrance exams replace exams written independently by test administration services affiliated with groups of universities.

Explanation:

Just like different states have different regulations for the issuance of drivers license, various test administration services affiliated with groups of universities have different standards for their test and admission procedure.

This standardised national test will ensure that admission across the country is based on one standardized examination rather than having different standards for different universities across the country leading to unreliability of test sores of several test administration services affiliated with groups of universities.

Human resource development is currently as an important strategic approach to improved productivity, efficiency and profitability. However, the level of human resource development which should be the central driving force in the achievement of organisational goals and economic development in Ghana is not encouraging and should be given the needed boost by building the knowledge, skills, working abilities and innate capacities of all the people across the society. This study therefore examines the potential contributions of human resource development to organisations in Ghana in order to make recommendations that will ensure that the required human resource needs are provided.
