Hi there I wanted to ask you guys if someone can please help me write a 1 paragraph (4 sentences) about the Oregon measures 107, 108, 109, and 110 it doesn't have to be that long ASAP pls

this is some what needs to be included but you guys can do 2 of them if you would like too but it would be better if you do all 3. The other 2 sentence you guys can write something different in there about the Oregon measures that you think.

1. What prior perspective did you have on this topic

2. what you learn about the topic from these Oregon measures

3. how was your perception of the world changed

Answers

Answer 1

The new ballot measures which were voted in on November 3rd, 2020, are mainly based on drug issues. I believed before reading about the measures that they were making drugs legal, after reading the official descriptions I learned that the measures like 110 are helping addicts recover through state funded programs. 108 helps lower the people affected by nicotine addiction by imposing taxes on cigarettes and inhalant delivery systems such as E-cigarettes. My perception of the world has changed because I have learned that word of mouth descriptions of laws, which can be affected by politics, can differ from the official account of the law.

Hope this helped. If not tell me and I can edit it.

Have a great day!

Answers

Answer:

The correct answer is B

Explanation:

Because I said so

Due to the Columbian Exchange, the Europeans started to colonize more territories. Hence, option b is appropriate.

What is the Columbian Exchange?

While aiding the export of New World goods like sugar, tobacco, cocoa, and potatoes to the Old World, Christopher Columbus also brought horses, sugar plants, and disease to the New World. The Columbian Exchange is the method by which goods, people, and diseases were transported over the Atlantic.

The Columbian exchange, also known as both the Columbian interchange, was characterized by the extensive flow of organisms, including plants, animals, precious metals, goods, populations of people, illnesses, and commodities.

The Columbian Exchange, or the crossing between the Old and New Worlds, was a significant environmental turning point. The mixing of people, fatal diseases that decimated the Native American population, crops, animals, goods, and commerce routes made it significant.

The introduction of illnesses from the Old World to the Americas was the most disastrous effect of the Columbian exchange. Smallpox, measles, mumps, whooping cough, chickenpox, typhus, and influenza were among the deadly pathogens.

Hence, option B is correct.

More extreme than those in rural regions, the Third Estate cashier in Paris demanded significant changes to the political, judicial, and tax systems.

How did the Third Estate Use these cahiers for their own benefit?

The cahiers, which were created in the spring of 1789, were mandates for members chosen to the Estates-General of France, which met the following summer. They were lists of issues or complaints. The lists of complaints created by each of France's three Estates between January and April of 1789, the year the French Revolution got underway, are known as Cahiers de doléances (or simply Cahiers).

Taxes had to be paid, and only the third estate was responsible for France's expenses. The nobles spent all of the tax money, and the monarch was compelled to raise taxes because of war expenses and debts at a time when France was facing a food shortage.

(MC)Letter to a Citizen of Kentucky, an excerptExecutive Mansion, Washington,April 4, 1864.A. G. Hodges, Esq., Frankfort, Ky.My Dear Sir: You ask me to put in writing the substance of what I verbally stated the other day, in your presence, to Governor Bramlette and Senator Dixon. It was about as follows: I am naturally anti-slavery. If slavery is not wrong nothing is wrong. I cannot remember when I did not so think and feel; and yet I have never understood that the Presidency conferred upon me an unrestricted right to act officially in this judgment and feeling. It was in the oath I took that I would to the best of my ability preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. I could not take the office without taking the oath. Nor was it in my view that I might take the oath to get power, and break the oath in using the power. I understood, too, that in ordinary civil administration this oath even forbade me to practically indulge my primary abstract judgment on the moral question of slavery. I had publicly declared this many times and in many ways; and I aver that, to this day I have done no official act in mere deference to my abstract judgment and feeling on slavery. I did understand, however, that my oath to preserve the Constitution to the best of my ability imposed upon me the duty of preserving, by every indispensable means, that government, that nation, of which that Constitution was the organic law. Was it possible to lose the nation, and yet preserve the Constitution? By general law, life and limb must be protected; yet often a limb must be amputated to save a life, but a life is never wisely given to save a limb. I felt that measures, otherwise unconstitutional, might become lawful by becoming indispensable to the preservation of the Constitution through the preservation of the nation. Right or wrong, I assumed this ground, and now avow it. I could not feel that to the best of my ability I had even tried to preserve the Constitution, if, to save slavery, or any minor matter, I should permit the wreck of government, country, and Constitution altogether. When, early in the war, General Fremont attempted military emancipation, I forbade it, because I did not then think it an indispensable necessity. When, a little later, General Cameron, then Secretary of War, suggested the arming of the blacks, I objected, because I did not yet think it an indispensable necessity. When, still later, General Hunter attempted military emancipation, I forbade it, because I did not yet think the indispensable necessity had come. When, in March and May and July, 1862, I made earnest and successive appeals to the Border States to favor compensated emancipation, I believed the indispensable necessity for military emancipation and arming the blacks would come, unless averted by that measure. They declined the proposition; and I was, in my best judgment, driven to the alternative of either surrendering the Union, and with it the Constitution, or of laying strong hand upon the colored element. I chose the latter. In choosing it, I hoped for greater gain than loss; but of this I was not entirely confident...Yours truly,A. LincolnLincoln's decision to arm black soldiers occurred at what point?
