Why might someone not like Socialism?

Answers

Answer 1

Socialism can be corrupted and has been often throughout history. Many dictators promise to deliver socialism only to provide more of a communist or totalitarian government if anything. Also, even if true socialism was delivered, there are many who fear that their standard of living would decrease. For the (very) wealthy, they are likely not to favor socialism due to the fact that their wealth would be redistributed to those in need. There are probably other reasons why someone may not like socialism, but I'm not sure at the moment. Hopefully this is a good starting point for your assignment or essay. Of course you should look into further research on this topic.

The best description of native North Americans before the arrival of the Europeans is that "They lived in a world that was biologically and culturally diverse."

Before the arrival of the white European colonists to the North American territory, thousands and thousands of Native American Indians lived across this territory. Indeed, they have been living there way before the arrival of the first English colonists.

The  Native Indians lived in a world that was biologically and culturally diverse. There were many tribes in different territories that had their own culture and belief systems, leaders, and social classes. What they had in common was the utmost respect for mother nature and were grateful for everything it provided to them.

A member of the legislature, Dr.Joseph Guillotine had introduced the guillotine as a more humane method of beheading than the uncertain ax. But the guillotine quickly became a symbol of horror True or false

Answers

Answer:

False.

Explanation:

The guillotine was, in fact, created by Dr. Joseph Guillotine, however, it did not become a symbol of horror, but the symbol of allowing convicts to be entitled to a death without torture.

Dr. Joseph Guillotine idealized the guillotine during the Enlightenment, when the methods of condemning accused of crime were carried out in a torturous manner and which caused a slow and very agonizing death. These methods began to be questioned, claiming that they diminished the right of a living being. In this case, Dr. Joseph Guillotine created the guillotine as a form of quick and painless death, as the condemned had their heads cut off quickly. This initiated a series of attempts to install a justice system where the right to life was maintained and those convicted of crimes went through a process of re-education and resocialization, instead of being executed.

What events took place outside of the country/region that led to the Cambodia genocide?

Answers

Answer:

con I help I know the answer

The Cambodian genocide was fueled by several international events, including the rise of communist ideology and the Vietnam War.

After the US pulled out of Vietnam in 1973, the Communist Khmer Rouge seized power in Cambodia with the support of China. The Khmer Rouge sought to eradicate capitalist and Western influences, leading to the targeting of intellectuals, professionals, and ethnic minorities. Additionally, the Cold War and tensions between the US and the Soviet Union created a power vacuum that allowed for genocide to occur.

The international community failed to intervene in a timely manner, with the UN waiting until 1991 to establish the Khmer Rouge Tribunal. The genocide serves as a tragic reminder of the devastating consequences of political and ideological extremism.

According to History,

The Neolithic Revolution also called the Agricultural Revolution, marked the transition in human history from small, nomadic bands of hunter-gatherers to larger, agricultural settlements and early civilization. The Neolithic Revolution started around 10,000 B.C. in the Fertile Crescent, a boomerang-shaped region of the Middle East where humans first took up farming. Shortly after, Stone Age humans in other parts of the world also began to practice agriculture. Civilizations and cities grew out of the innovations of the Neolithic Revolution.

One of the well-known causes is when the Earth entered a warming trend around 14,000 years ago at the end of the last Ice Age. Some scientists theorize that climate changes drove the Agricultural Revolution.
