Why Mesopotamia developed along the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers
Answer:
Mesopotamia developed along the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers because of fertile land, access to water, and ability to travel easily.
Explanation:
Mesopotamia developed along those two rivers because of the great fertile land. Because the land was surrounded by water on two sides and had two great rivers, the land was great for irrigation and growing crops. Some parts of the land were called the Fertile Crescent.
Of course, since there's so much access to water, that's definitely not going to be an issue for the Ancient Mesopotamians. They used the water for drinking, bathing, and agricultural purposes.
Lastly, the rivers provided transportation for the Mesopotamians. Back then, there were no roads, and sailing on a boat was easier than walking on land.

Writing an Analytical Essay That Takes Advantage of Hindsight
Remember that hindsight is the advantage one has by writing about something after it has happened. In general, the more time has passed since an event, the greater advantage a writer has in writing about it. This is because as time passes, the effects of an event become more apparent.
In this task, you will write an analytical essay that uses hindsight to determine cause-and-effect, showing how the Civil War and Reconstruction did or did not make significant progress toward creating a more equal society.
Your analytical essay should be structured as follows:
Introduction: Introduce the particular causes and effects you are analyzing and makes a clear and precise claim.
Body Paragraphs: Provide information that supports your analysis of causes and effects. Reasons should be clearly stated and supported by well-sourced evidence. They should also be logically arranged and build upon one another. Relationships between claims and reasoning should be clear. Finally, include an explanation of how your viewpoint differs from that of someone immediately after the event took place because you have had the benefit of hindsight.
Conclusion: Sum up your thoughts and analysis. Leave the reader with your most significant insight.
Examine this sample analytical essay before writing your own.
The Shifting Cause of the Civil War
President Lincoln's original stated goal in pursuing the Civil War was to keep the Union together. With the benefit of hindsight, however, it was inevitable that the focus of the war would shift to slavery. The South's claim that they were fighting for "states' rights" was, after all, a thinly veiled assertion that they had the right to own human beings. (South Carolina's Declaration of Succession, in fact, made no bones about this.)
President Lincoln was fully aware of what motivated Succession. His delay in officially calling for slavery's end was almost certainly a political calculation. He knew that announcing his true intent from the beginning would lose him supporters in the border states, which maintained slavery while remaining in the Union. Waiting until the moment was right—and then ending slavery only in Confederate states—was a shrewd decision on his part that contributed to eventual Union victory.
The actions of the South after defeat highlight that the desire to keep enslaved persons had motivated Succession. Even though the Civil War technically settled the issue of slavery, the attitudes that created it remained widespread in Southern states for more than a century afterward. There was little support in the South for Reconstruction. In fact, they did everything they could to keep freed African Americans from true equality. Looking back, the strongest evidence supporting this fact was the passage of Black Codes, which meant to keep Black people in a state as close to slavery as possible. Those continued efforts to oppress African Americans led to the federal government's passage of the Thirteenth, Fourteenth, and Fifteenth Amendments, which were not actually ratified by every Southern state until the twentieth century.
In hindsight, despite both the Confederacy's and Lincoln's initial assertions, it was inevitable that the Civil War would boil down to an openly acknowledged battle over abolition.

How did the Germans react when forced to view the camps by allied soldiers?
PLEASE DO NOT DELETE!!!!! I WILL REPORT
Answer:
When the men of the 42nd “Rainbow” Division rolled into the Bavarian town of Dachau at the tail end of World War II, they expected to find an abandoned training facility for Adolf Hitler’s elite SS forces, or maybe a POW camp.
What they discovered instead would be seared into their memories for as long as they lived—piles of emaciated corpses, dozens of train cars filled with badly decomposed human remains, and perhaps most difficult to process, the thousands of “walking skeletons” who had managed to survive the horrors of Dachau, the Nazi’s first and longest-operating concentration camp.
“Almost none of the soldiers, from generals down to privates, had any concept of what a concentration camp really was, the kind of condition people would be in when they got there, and the level of slavery and oppression and atrocities that the Nazis had perpetrated,” says John McManus, a professor of U.S. military history at the Missouri University of Science and Technology, and author of Hell Before Their Very Eyes: US Soldiers Liberate Concentration Camps in Germany, April 1945.
“It was stunning.”
The liberation of Dachau by American troops on April 26, 1945, wasn’t the first such deliverance by Allied troops. The Soviets had found and freed what remained of Auschwitz and other death camps months earlier. But the wrenching images and first-hand testimonies recorded by Dachau’s shocked liberators brought the horrors of the Holocaust home to America.

Based on historical perspective, the Indians and African Americans shared the typical American experience of "creating new cultures and societies out of the mingling of diverse ethnic groups."
Both the American Indians and the African Americans had distinct cultures before the European settlers brought them together through migration and slavery.
Following the mingle between American Indians, African Americans, and many European settlers like English, French, Dutch, Spanish, German, etc., both groups had common American experiences of creating new cultures and societies out of the mingling of diverse ethnic groups.
Hence, in this case, it is concluded that the correct answer is option B.

The Whites need to impress fear and respect upon their slaves in order not to one day find themselves the victims of their fury. Unless the slaves are kept in a constant state of fear of punishment, they would always be ready to revolt, to take over everything, and to commit the most horrible crimes in order to liberate themselves. "The Whites need to impress fear and respect upon their slaves in order, not to one day find themselves the victims or their fury" best describes the author’s argument in the first paragraph.
What was the punishment for the slaves?Slaves were punished for failing to labor quickly enough, arriving late to the fields, disobeying the master, fleeing, and a variety of other offenses. Whippings, torture, mutilation, incarceration, and being sold away from the plantation were just a few of the punishments that were used. Defenders of slavery frequently asserted that it was beneficial for both the enslavers and the slaves they held captive in the decades before the American Civil War.
They defended the legal enslavement of individuals for the purpose of exploitation as a charitable, paternalistic institution with positive social and economic outcomes, a crucial pillar of civilization, and a divine institution on par with or superior to the free labor in the Northern United States.

As Hitler would you attack russia or not
Answer:
50/50
Explanation:
Hitler's idea was lebensraum, basically, he wanted more space for Aryans and no space for others. Russia is the biggest country in the world, overlapping 2 continents (Asia and Europe) and it would be beneficial if I/Hitler wanted a lot of space for Aryans. But Russia has specially trained soldiers for cold, so if I tried to wage a battle, and it became winter, I'm screwed, because Russia is very far from the equator, so they get very cold winters. These events occured in WW2, so, it would happen again. So it's 50/50 for me.
