The United States government passed the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution in 1964 in response to an incident between the US and North Vietnam in the Gulf of Tonkin. Domestic forces that contributed to the resolution included the Cold War rhetoric of the time, which emphasized the importance of the US containing communism in Vietnam, as well as the presence of strong pro-war factions in the government.
The resolution authorized President Johnson to take all necessary measures to repel any armed attack against the US and to prevent further aggression.Additionally, the public was largely supportive of US involvement in Vietnam due to the perceived threat of communism. Abroad, forces included the North Vietnamese attack on US ships in the Gulf of Tonkin, which resulted in US retaliation and a rise in US troop presence in Vietnam. Thus, domestic and foreign forces coalesced to create the atmosphere necessary for the US government to pass the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution. The Gulf of Tonkin Resolution was a joint resolution passed by the United States Congress on August 7, 1964. The resolution came into existence after two separate naval incidents involving the USS Maddox and the USS Turner Joy, in the Gulf of Tonkin, which led to the United States' involvement in the Vietnam War. Vicki Sears' "Dancer" can be analyzed to see how Molly Graybull plays the classic elder role model. This can be demonstrated when Clarissa's passion for dancing is inspired and motivated by her dance performance, and when it also promotes Clarissa's mental and emotional wellness.
Explain the characterization in Dancer by Vicki Sears.Clarissa in 'Dancers' starts acting strangely the evening she first meets Graybull. "Have no dreams at all ever. In any case, not the yelling sort. (Sears) According to this quotation, Graybull is already having an impact on Clarissa's mental health the night she meets him. The magnitude of the impact Molly would have on Clarissa later on in the narrative can also be hinted at in this sentence.
It appears that Clarissa is beginning to learn a lot from Molly, beyond just her dance moves. One evening during dinner, she declares loudly and clearly, "I'm an Assiniboin." This demonstrates that Molly is also teaching Clarissa how to appreciate herself and be proud of her past, just like a conventional elder would do to a young person. I was overwhelmed by the many faces and the voices which I could not understand. High above me was a white face which my mother told me was the face of the judge. Across the huge room sat my father, smiling confidently, looking at us. My mother warned me not to be fooled by my father’s friendly manner; she told me that the judge might ask me questions, and if he did I must tell him the truth. This poem ends and repeat the first stanza, therefore making the first and last verse the same. This is called as envelope poetry.
The envelope verse is the act of repeating a line or stanza in poetry, either exactly or with minor alteration, in order to encapsulate the remainder (or portion) of the poem between its two appearances. A stanza may start and end with the same line, or a poem may start and conclude with the same line or stanza, each line or stanza in a poem that starts and ends with the same word. It serves as a means of completing the verse. It was known as dúnadh by the ancient Celts, and it is a distinctive aspect of Celtic verse. The triolet is an eight-line poem with the identical two lines at the start and finish that was once popular in France. An illustration is found in "The Tyger" by William Blake. Stanzas, which are verse-only sections, are separated from one another by a line space.
In narrative poetry, they typically capture a specific moment of action, however in lyric poetry they are employed to add musicality and repeat melody.

A debate on why schools should be 4 days a week. Atleast (4) four paragraphs
In America, majority of public schools require five days a week with only two days off. Despite the amount of time students spend in school, they might not be learning as much as you'd think. About 22% of highschoolers were failing post-pandemic. So maybe what we really need is more hours a day in school, rather than more days.
There are many reasons why schools are debating the 4 day a week school week. There might be a lot more pros if school decides on a 4-day school week. The first reason being, from already performed studies. The students who already have 4 day school weeks say having to spend more time in school is worth the Monday off. More time can be spent in each class, making sure students indulge in what they're learning rather than going through the motion of short periods each day. By the time students settle into class and are ready to learn, the bell rings. So having more time to have focused students would be very beneficial in the classroom.
The next reason is flexibility. Having a 4 day school week gives our teachers and administrators a whole weekday for their errands, meetings, appointments, etc. This means teachers will miss less time with their students. Having a substitute is sometimes detrimental to students learning. Especially if the same class has an absent teacher often. Giving our teachers an extra day means teachers will spend more time helping those students who need it, and less time without a teacher.

Socioeconomic classes in Elizabethan England were determined according to people's economic status and social responsibility.
These classes were determined as follows:
Nobility: they were rich people, who lived within the court and had great influence in the kingdom. The nobles received this title by ancestry, marriage, or because they were appointed by the queen.
Gentry: They were also rich people, they had less influence in the kingdom, but they were still influential because they held positions of great social importance. People who belonged to this class, earned this title by ancestry or marriage.

O C. A personal voice
• D. Complete sentences
Explanation:
B. Slang or filler words.
In formal writing, it is important to use clear, concise language that conveys your ideas and arguments effectively. Using slang, colloquialisms, or filler words can detract from the professional tone and clarity of your writing. Additionally, it is important to use a formal, objective voice in formal writing, and avoid using a personal voice that includes opinions or subjective language.
Dates and signatures can be appropriate in some formal writing, such as business letters or legal documents, while complete sentences are essential for clear communication. However, using slang or filler words can be a significant barrier to effective communication in formal writing.
In written work, context clues help explain the meaning of a word or phrase?
The term "context cues" refers to the pieces of information that can serve as hints for a reader to understand the meaning of a word or section that is unfamiliar or strange.
How do context cues work?A reader or listener can "decipher" any words with unclear meanings by using context cues, which are helpful indications and clues inside a sentence, paragraph, or larger context. In order to determine the intended meaning of a word having several meanings, we can also make use of context cues.
For instance, the context cue email in the phrase "Sorry I didn't notice your email, it ended up in my spam" informs us that the speaker is referring to their spam box rather than processed meat. Simple context cues include things like visuals, synonyms, and antonyms. Or, they might necessitate a little extra effort, such as analyzing the syntax of the sentence and determining the word's required part of speech.

write a story about a forest called “abandoned”
Explanation:
Once a vibrant and lively forest, Abandoned had now become a desolate and eerie place. It was said that anyone who entered the forest never came out, as if the forest had a life of its own. People stopped coming to Abandoned, and it was left to decay.
But one day, a young girl named Lily entered Abandoned, looking for her lost dog. She was warned by the villagers not to go there, but she refused to listen. As she walked through the dense trees, she felt a chill run down her spine. But she kept going, determined to find her beloved pet.
As she searched, she noticed something strange. The trees and plants seemed to be coming back to life, as if they had been waiting for her. Lily realized that the forest was not abandoned, but merely forgotten. She saw beauty in the overgrown vegetation and the chirping birds, and she knew she had to share this with the world.
Lily spent the next few months working tirelessly to restore the forest to its former glory. She cleared the paths, planted new saplings, and removed the dead trees. She also discovered a hidden pond, where she found her lost dog, who had been living with the other creatures of the forest.
Word of Lily's work spread, and people started coming back to Abandoned. They marveled at the beauty of the once-derelict forest, and they could not believe that it was the same place. Lily had brought life back to Abandoned, and it was no longer forgotten.
Years passed, and Lily grew old. When she passed away, the villagers knew what they had to do. They buried her in the heart of the forest she had worked so hard to restore. And as they stood around her grave, they saw that the trees and plants had grown even taller and more vibrant, as if to pay tribute to the girl who had saved them. From that day on, Abandoned was known as Lily's Forest, and it remained a place of beauty and wonder for generations to come.
