Soldier home after losing his leg in Afghanistan summary 5-7 sentences

Answers

Answer 1

Answer:

There was a man named Tristan Segers, a veteran, who lost his right leg due to an bomb explosion. Segers was able to make it through physical therapy and was able to live life as he wanted to. He never saw his prosthetic leg as a set back but as a challenge to overcome. He was not ashamed of his leg, in fact he would wear shorts in summer and run marathons with his prosthetic leg. Segers believed that when something bad happens to someone in life, mentally or physically, it shouldn't hold you back instead you should try to live life like it was before the event happened. Segers' story, motivated other veterans to not give up on life instead to fight and over come those obstacles.
