How can people stop being Homophobia? °∩°

Answers

Answer 1

Pretty long so read if you will:

I'm pretty late to this but oh well. Well to start why are people homophobic in the first place? You might not understand as well but that is because me and you are growing up at a time and place where people are encouraged to be themselves and we're embracing people that are different than what is considered normal. Gay marriage was legalized literally in the US in 2015, 5 years ago. I come from Malaysia, one of the few countries where it's illegal to be gay and can cause a death penalty from what I've seen. Obviously I grew up in a place where gay and whatnot were a joke and is wrong. But we moved and I came to the US and my beliefs changes, it also helped that I was literally only 11 so I was more easier to change than adults. Majority of the world honestly, are not as open to the lgbtq+ community as a person in America might think. The belief that it's only a women and men probably stems from the fact that it's how u make babies. And if we know anything, society doesn't like things that are different. To stop people being homophobic you have to stop people from spreading the belief that it's wrong to be gay or bi. This is going to be hard and people really overestimate the world when it comes to change. Peoples belief won't be changed so quick just, change doesn't happen quick. It's going to be a long time and maybe even never, look at racism. We all exist together for so long but there's still racism though much less compared to back then. As long as people stop teaching that next generation, us, that being lgbtq+ is bad, it will decrease but it will take a long time. And as much as I agree we need it to be now, it won't and trying to force something will only cause more backlash. Just try to inform the people around you and understand change does not happen fast, it's slow, especially if it you want it to be permanent.

Salmon often jump waterfalls to reach their breeding grounds. Starting downstream, 3.04 m away from a waterfall 0.585 m in height, at what minimum speed must a salmon jumping at an angle of 41.7 ◦ leave the water to continue upstream? The acceleration due to gravity is 9.81 m/s 2 . Answer in units of m/s.

Answers

Answer:

V₀ = 5.47 m/s

Explanation:

The jumping motion of the Salmon can be modelled as the projectile motion. So, we use the formula for the range of projectile motion here:

R = V₀² Sin 2θ/g

where,

R = Range of Projectile = 3.04 m

θ = Launch Angle = 41.7°

V₀ = Minimum Launch Speed = ?

g = 9.81 m/s²

Therefore,

3.04 m = V₀² [Sin2(41.7°)]/(9.81 m/s²)

V₀² = 3.04 m/(0.10126 s²/m)

V₀ = √30.02 m²/s²

V₀ = 5.47 m/s

A tourist wishes to catch a train in 1.2 hours, which is 115 km away. If she spends the first half-hour going 90km/h, how fast will she need to go to get to station on time?

Answers

Answer:

100km/hr

Explanation:

From the problem statement we know that distance of the trip is 115km

Expected time for the trip = 1.2hrs

→ If she spends the first half-hour going 90km/hr,

    Here  time  = 0.5hr

              speed  = 90km/hr

 The distance covered;

    Distance covered   =  Speed x time

    Distance covered  = 90 x 0.5  = 45km

→The remaining distance will be:

        Total distance - distance covered

              115km  - 45km  = 70km

→ The remaining time;

      1.2hr - 0.5hr  = 0.7hr

 Speed  = [tex]\frac{distance}{time}[/tex]

  Insert the parameters and solve;

  Speed  = [tex]\frac{70}{0.7}[/tex]   = 100km/hr

For the remaining lap, the tourist must travel at a rate of 100km/hr to catch up.

Answers

Answer:

1) τ = I α    whereby the torque is provided by the angular acceleration

2)  L = 216 Kg m² / s

Explanation:

1) Let's start with Newton's second law

       F = m a

multiply by the arm or perpendicular distance

       F r = m a r

if the distance is not perpendicular a way of realizing the relations using the vector product

      τ = F r = F x r

the bold are vectors.  The angular and linear acceleration are related

       a = α r=

      τ = m (α r) r

      τ = (m r²) α

the inertia of the rotational motion is

        I = m r²

we substitute

       τ = I α

whereby the torque is provided by the angular acceleration.

As an example we have:

* a spinning disk

* a ball rotating in the air

* a pulley

2) The rotational momentum is

           L = I w

the moment of inertia of a rod that through its center

           I = m L²

we substitute

           L = m L² w

let's calculate

          L = 6 1.5 2 16

          L = 216 Kg m² / s

[tex]L = I\cdot \omega[/tex] (1)

[tex]I = \frac{1}{12}\cdot m\cdot L^{2}[/tex] (2)

[tex]L = \frac{1}{12} \cdot m\cdot L^{2}\cdot \omega[/tex] (3)

[tex]L = \frac{1}{12}\cdot (6\,kg)\cdot (1.5\,m)^{2}\cdot \left(16\,\frac{rad}{s} \right)[/tex]

[tex]L = 18\,\frac{kg\cdot m^{2}}{s}[/tex]

[tex]m_{B}[/tex] is the mass of cart B = 200 g = 0.2 kg

[tex]v_{A_{i}}[/tex] is the inital velocity of cart A = 0.7 m/s

[tex]v_{A_{f}}[/tex] is the final velocity of cart A = 0.27 m/s

[tex]v_{B_{i}}[/tex] is the initial velocity of cart B = 0

[tex]v_{B_{f}}[/tex] is the final velocity of cart B =?

Taking the left direction as the positive horizontal direction:

[tex] 0.6 kg*0.7 m/s + 0 = 0.6 kg*0.27 m/s + 0.2 kg*v_{B_{f}} [/tex]

[tex] v_{B_{f}} = 1.29 m/s [/tex]

Explanation:

Weight in Newtons can be found by multiplying the mass times the acceleration of gravity.

[tex]W=m*g[/tex]

The mass of the man is 66 kilograms on Earth.

Earth has an acceleration of gravity that is 9.8 meters per square second.

[tex]m= 66 \ kg \\g=9.8 \ m/s^2[/tex]

Substitute the values into the formula.

[tex]W=66 \ kg *9.8 \ m/s^2[/tex]

Velocity = 15.87m/s

Explanation:

Given the following data;

Distance, d = 200000m

Time, t = 12600secs

*To find the velocity*

Velocity can be defined as the rate of change in displacement (distance) with time. Velocity is a vector quantity and as such it has both magnitude and direction.

Mathematically, velocity is given by the equation;

[tex]Velocity = \frac{distance}{time}[/tex]

Substituting into the equation, we have;
